Enhancing Compliance Training for Lockheed Martin

The Challenge

Lockheed Martin faced a critical challenge in ensuring that its employees were well-versed in compliance with gifts and business courtesies, anti-kickback, and anti-corruption policies. The objectives for the training course were to:

  • Deepen employees’ understanding of relevant policies and laws.
  • Help employees recognize situations that might lead to policy violations.
  • Guide employees on when and how to take appropriate actions to ensure compliance.

Additionally, the training  is available in English, Canadian French, and Polish, with a fast-track test-out option for those already familiar with the content.

Our Solution

For the training to be successful, the course needed to be more than just a recitation of policies. To address this, we designed an interactive learning experience  featuring 2 video hosts that move in and out of various thought-provoking scenarios via graphic a graphic novel design. The scenarios provide thought provoking situations where learners can see and feel the policies in action.

  • Situational challenges to help employees apply what they learned.
  • Visually appealing elements to maintain interest and effectively convey key points.

    The Results

    The revised Gifts and Business Courtesies Training course has been a huge success, winning multiple awards for its innovative design and effectiveness. By incorporating interactive scenarios, the course effectively communicates important concepts and policies. As a result, the training promotes ethical behavior and smart business decisions across the organization, significantly enhancing compliance and awareness.

    In addition, the inclusion of a test out/fast-track option made the training more efficient for those already knowledgeable about the content, while the knowledge check ensured all employees gained the necessary understanding.
