Celebrating Diversity with Interactive Heritage Month Presentations
The Challenge
The client sought to celebrate the diverse cultures within its community by creating interactive presentations for each of the company-recognized history and heritage months. The goal was to provide self-paced, informative, and enjoyable courses that foster inclusiveness and educate employees about different cultures and how these cultures might influence workplace experiences.
Our Solution
A series of highly interactive virtual tours were written and designed for each heritage month. Each presentation takes the learner on a journey at a different scenic location where the learner meets an animated host who then becomes their guide. Locations range from outside venues such as virtual fairs and scenic parks to indoor museums. Each course is highly animated and interactive allowing the learner to explore the areas they’re most interested in and at their own pace. Along the way the learner is presented with a range of topics including history, culture, the arts and food. as well as current trends and some fun facts.
The Results
The custom heritage month presentations provide an innovative way to celebrate diversity and inclusiveness. Employees are able to learn new and interesting facts about different cultures through engaging and interactive learning environments. This not only educates but also helps to build a more inclusive and culturally aware workplace.
